Latham Named Insolvency and Restructuring Law Firm of the Year

Latham & Watkins was named 2023 Insolvency and Restructuring Law Firm of the Year at the annual JUVE awards ceremony. JUVE highlighted the firm’s influence, noting: “entire industries would look different today without the team from Latham & Watkins […] debtors seek their advice, as well as creditors and insolvency administrators.”

JUVE bases the awards on rankings from the annual JUVE Handbook, as well as comprehensive consultation with clients and competitors.

Among the high-profile restructurings Latham handled were: the Leoni’s restructuring, the largest StaRUG procedure to date with a financing and factoring volume of more than €2 billion; completing a rare restructuring using the Bond Act for real estate company Accentro; and representing numerous automotive suppliers, including Benteler, Borgers, Huf Hülsbeck & Fürst, and WKW, in insolvency matters.
