Latham & Watkins Represents Open Co in Acquisition of BizCapital

Cross-practice and cross-border team advised the Brazilian consumer credit startup on one of the largest private fintech M&A deals in Brazil this year.
Open Co (formerly Geru), an online lending platform for individuals, announced a merger with B2B SME lending platform, BizCapital. The combined company now manages R$5 billion in originated loans. Latham will continue to represent the combined company after closing.
