Latham & Watkins Advises on Financing to Support KKR’s Completed Acquisition of Industrial Physics From Union Park Capital

KKR, a leading global investment firm, closed on July 19, 2023 the acquisition of Industrial Physics, a leading manufacturer of testing and measurement instruments, from Union Park Capital. KKR plans to support the Company in its continued growth organically and through add-on acquisitions. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented the direct lenders in a financing to support the acquisition with a banking team led by New York partners Lisa Collier and Alfred Xue, Chicago partners Brandon Anderson and John Lister, London partner Ross Pooley, and Frankfurt partner Torsten Volkholz, with associates Yekaterina Fomitcheva, Eric Dang, and Philipp Guggeis. Advice was also provided on tax matters by New York partner Bora Bozkurt, with associate Kathryn Harrington; and on IP matters by New York partner Jeff Tochner.
