Law.com has named London corporate partner Anna Ngo and finance associate Tracy Liu in its list of Rising Stars: The UK’s Best Up and Coming Female Lawyers.
Ngo was commended for her pivotal role on 888’s reverse takeover of William Hill, as well as on Benevolent AI’s €1.5 billion listing, the largest-ever of a biotech on Euronext Amsterdam. Liu was recognized for playing a key role in advising on banking aspects for the successful financial restructuring of Vue Cinemas, as well as advising the lead arrangers and underwriters of the financing for Clinigen Group’s takeover by Triton Fund.
Law.com has marked International Women’s Day by recognizing the UK’s most exceptional up-and-coming female lawyers, whittling down over 115 entries to 25 of women aged under 40 who represent the best and brightest the UK market has to offer. Candidates were judged against the quality of their client base; the scale, significance and complexity of their deals; their client feedback and general market reputation; the standing of their mentors; and any other examples of career success and innovation.
