Latham & Watkins Advises AFIAA on the Sale of Westfalen-Center Dortmund

A German team represents the Swiss investment foundation in the transaction.
Latham & Watkins has advised the Swiss AFIAA Investment Foundation for Real Estate Investments in foreign countries on the sale of the Westfalen-Center Dortmund. The campus property near Dortmund city center consists of an office property with a hotel. The buyer is Union Investment. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
The Latham team was led by Frankfurt/Munich partner Carsten Loll, with Frankfurt counsel Sven Nickel and Munich associate Henriette Hosemann. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Hamburg partner Tobias Klaas.
