An emerging companies team advises the Shopify acquisition and scaling platform, whose mission is to provide life-changing liquidity to ecommerce entrepreneurs, in the funding round.
Latham & Watkins LLP has advised OpenStore, one of the largest acquisition and scaling platforms for Shopify stores, on its US$32 million Series B-1 funding round led by Lux Capital. This round brings the company’s valuation to US$970 million and over US$150 million in total equity funding to date.
The Latham team was led by Boston partner Spencer Ricks, with New York associates Eduard Grigoryan and Saem Kim.
