Latham & Watkins Advises Sequa Corporation in Acquisition by Veritas Capital

Veritas Capital (Veritas), a leading technology and government investment firm, has announced that an affiliate of Veritas has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Sequa Corporation (Sequa), parent company of Chromalloy, from funds managed by global investment firm Carlyle (NASDAQ: CG). Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Latham & Watkins LLP represents Sequa in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Washington, D.C. partner David Dantzic and Washington, D.C. counsel Elizabeth More, with associates Ryan Zumwalt, Brad Johnson, and Maddie Merkle. New York partners David Raab and Alan Kimball advised on tax matters.
