Latham Named Among India’s Top Foreign Firms in 2022

IBLJ credited the firm for its stellar reputation advising on equity fundraisings and multimillion-dollar IPOs.

The India Business Law Journal (IBLJ) has named Latham & Watkins to its prestigious Top Foreign Law Firms 2022 list. The annual ranking, now in its sixteenth year, draws on analysis of more than 600 law firms to identify the top 15 foreign firms for India-related work.

IBLJ credited Latham for its “stellar reputation for equity fundraising” and highlighted the firm’s role “at the forefront of multimillion-dollar IPOs.”, including the record-breaking US$2.47 billion IPO of digital payments and financial services platform Paytm; food delivery company Zomato’s US$1.25 billion IPO; the US$770 million IPO of Policybazaar and Paisabazaar owners PB Fintech; and the US$676 million IPO of logistics services company Delhivery.

The publication also noted Latham’s role on a number of high-profile debt transactions over the past 12 months, including advising Adani Transmission on a US$700 million revolving senior debt facility.
