Three Latham Partners Named Among Los Angeles Market Leaders

Amy Quartarolo, Larry Seymour, and Jason Silvera honored by the Los Angeles Business Journal for their firm and practice area leadership.

Three Latham partners have been named among the Top 100 Lawyers in Los Angeles by the LA Business Journal – litigation and trial partner Amy Quartarolo, tax partner Larry Seymour, and corporate partner Jason Silvera. Each was selected for the inaugural list by demonstrating “exceptional legal skills and achievements across a full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership, and contributions to the Los Angeles community at large,” according to the publication.

Quartarolo was cited for her role as Co-Chair of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department in Los Angeles, as well as for her bankruptcy litigation and creditors’ rights practice In which she represents both debtors and creditors in a wide range of bankruptcy-related and complex commercial litigation. She was also recognized for activities reflecting her commitment to developing diverse talent within the firm and in the legal profession.

Seymour, the Managing Partner of Latham’s two Los Angeles metro offices in downtown LA and Century City, was honored for leading more than 250 lawyers in the offices and their supporting staff through a range of daily activities – from strategic planning, client relations, financial performance and budgeting to compensation and progression decisions, mentoring and career development – while also maintaining his thriving executive compensation and employee benefits practice within the firm’s Tax Department.

Silvera, who recently completed service as Global Co-Chair of Latham’s Corporate Department, was honored for his market-leading client work within the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice, in which he advises private equity firms and public and private companies across industries important to the local and national economies ― including retail, sports, entertainment and media, internet and technology, real estate, defense, logistics, and manufacturing.
