Seven Latham Lawyers Honored As Client Service All-Stars by BTI Consulting
Based on the results of its ongoing surveys of corporate counsel and executives, the BTI Consulting Group has named seven Latham attorneys as 2022 Client Service All-Stars.
The list celebrates "attorneys who stand above all the others in delivering the absolute best in client service,” according to BTI Consulting. The 2022 Latham honorees are:
- David Buchanan a Los Angeles counsel in the firm’s Banking Practice who principally represents emerging companies, venture capital firms, private equity firms, investment banks and strategic acquirers in the technology, life sciences, and other growth industries, with a focus on acquisition financing, asset-based financing, working capital financing, and restructuring transactions.
- Gail Crawford, a London partner and Global Chair of Latham’s Technology Transactions Practice, who helps clients navigate complex data privacy and cyber security matters, as well as to license, develop, and exploit disruptive technology.
- David Hazelton, a Washington, D.C. partner and member of the firm’s White Collar Defense & Investigations Practice, who leads the firm’s government contracts practice and regularly represents clients in False Claims Act cases, bid protests, government investigations, and virtually every other type of government contract matter. He was previously named a BTI Client Service All-Star in 2020.
- Antony Kim, a Washington, D.C. partner and member of the firm’s Connectivity, Privacy & Information Practice, who represents clients across the full spectrum of advisory, regulatory investigation, and enforcement matters implicating cybersecurity, data privacy, and consumer protection issues.
- Cary Perlman, of counsel in the Chicago office who retired from the partnership on December 31, 2021 and has been named a BTI Client Service All-Stars several times during his career. He has advised on litigation, with an emphasis on environmental litigation and other complex cases involving contaminated sites, citizen suits, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Oil Pollution Act, RCRA, toxic torts, and white collar environmental crime.
- Jason Silvera, a Los Angeles partner and Global Vice Chair of Latham’s Corporate Department. He advises private equity firms and public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions in a broad range of industries, including retail, sports, entertainment and media, internet and technology, real estate, defense, logistics, and manufacturing. In September 2021, he was named by BTI Consulting to its inaugural list of M&A Client Service All-Stars.
- Laura Washington, a Los Angeles partner in the Litigation & Trial Practice and the Entertainment Sports & Media Practice, who represents high-profile clients in complex business disputes and intellectual property litigation.
