Latham & Watkins Advises Gaia in a Cross-Border US$50 Million Series C Funding Led by Softbank

Gaia Design, a Mexican online furniture sales platform, announced it has raised US$50 million in a Series C financing round led by Softbank. The company will also seek to expand its omnichannel business model in the country, which combines a digital sales platform with the traditional shopping experience in brick stores.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Gaia in the cross-border transaction with a corporate team led by Boston partner Evan Smith with New York associates Teddy Ellison and Tyler Prime.
