Justin Hamill Named American Lawyer Dealmaker of the Year

New York M&A partner honored for advising Virgin Galactic in transaction establishing the world’s first and only publicly traded commercial human spaceflight company.

Justin Hamill, a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice, was named a 2020 Dealmaker of the Year by The American Lawyer for advising Virgin Galactic on its merger with Social Capital Hedosophia, creating the world’s first and only publicly traded commercial human spaceflight company.

The annual Dealmakers of the Year award honors the lawyers who advised on the most impressive and significant matters during the prior year.
