Chicago Corporate Partners Receive Emerging Leaders Award

Chicago Corporate Department partners Christopher Drewry and Jonathan Solomon have been selected as winners of The M&A Advisor’s 2018 Emerging Leaders Award, which recognizes M&A professionals under age 40 who have reached a significant level of success and made notable accomplishments in business and in service to the community. 

Drewry advises large multinational corporations, private equity sponsors, financial advisors, and special committees of boards of directors on complex cross-border public and private mergers and acquisitions, divisional carveout transactions, corporate governance, and activism defense. His experience spans a range of industries, including automotive, industrials and manufacturing, oil and gas, and internet and digital media.

Solomon advises global clients, including private equity funds, family offices and their portfolio companies, on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including public and private mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, leveraged buyouts, strategic investments, and joint ventures, across a range of industries. He is the Chair of the Chicago Corporate Department.
