Three partners are recognized among the “Los Angeles 500” list of business and civic leaders.

Three Latham & Watkins partners are among the “Los Angeles 500,” an exclusive list of business and civic leaders published by the Los Angeles Business Journal. The inaugural edition of the annual feature profiled “people shaping the business and social fabric of the region,” including Los Angeles partners Jim Beaubien, Jeffrey Greenberg and Cindy Starrett.

Beaubien was recognized for advising prominent local clients on M&A and private equity transactions, as well as his firm leadership roles as the former office managing partner in Los Angeles and as a former Chair of the office’s Corporate Department.

Greenberg is the current office managing partner in Los Angeles, and a former member of the firm’s Executive Committee. In addition to his leadership roles, he was recognized for an industry-leading project finance practice in which he advises on all phases of power, oil refinery, ethanol, telecommunications, and other infrastructure projects.

Starrett was cited for her role as chair of Latham’s project siting and approvals practice and her work on many landmark projects in Los Angeles, including representation of the Los Angeles Football Club and its current development of a 22,000-seat Major League Soccer stadium in Exposition Park.

David Fleming, a retired Latham & Watkins counsel, was also named among the “LA 500” for his business and civic roles.
