Entertainment Media Honors Latham Lawyers

Century City partners Joseph Calabrese and Christopher Brearton have again been named as prominent entertainment, sports and media advisers in two reports published by the leading trade publications for the entertainment industry – Variety’s 2016 “Legal Impact Report” and The Hollywood Reporter’s “Power Lawyers” 2016 list. Both partners have consistently appeared in the annual reports naming them among the industry’s most influential lawyers, and each was recognized this year for advising high-profile clients on complex cross-border transactions, with Variety’s coverage noting that “Hollywood entertainment and global sports continue to have worldwide appeal and increasingly intersect.” The Variety report also named Century City associate Rick Offsay among its “Up Next” honorees representing the next generation of leaders in entertainment law. The three lawyers are members of the firm’s global Entertainment, Sports & Media practice, which Calabrese chairs.
