A recognized leader, Mr. Kurlander founded and built Latham’s leading Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice out of the Washington, D.C., office, expanding the breadth of the firm’s medtech, diagnostic, digital health, biotechnology, and health service offerings over more than a decade as Chair of the D.C. Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice and his years as Global Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice Chair.

Mr. Kurlander established and then co-chaired the Israel Practice, which led to the opening of a Tel Aviv office. He also established the Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice in Israel, which has led to the regulatory and transactional representation of a wide variety of Israel-based businesses.
