Sandhya Chandrasekhar is counsel in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Tax Department. Ms. Chandrasekhar has professional experience in employee benefits and executive compensation and works with clients to create practical solutions that satisfy the tax and ERISA legal requirements.

She works with both the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor to resolve client issues.

This involves coordination with the Affordable Care Act and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), as well as tax law and ERISA.

In addition, she counsels clients with respect to a variety of other issues, including outsourcing employees and handling practical and legal benefits issues in mergers and acquisitions.
