Kirk A. Wilkinson


Kirk Wilkinson retired from the partnership on August 31, 2018. A partner in Latham’s Los Angeles office, he focused his practice on environmental litigation.

Mr. Wilkinson has extensive expertise in a wide variety of environmental litigation and regulatory matters. His work has included defending mass tort actions, defending and pursuing claims concerning contaminated properties, and addressing common law and statutory claims by private parties or public entities regarding the presence of chemicals in air, soil, or water.

He has worked extensively on CERCLA and California cost recovery litigation for Superfund sites in California and the west, and litigation involving the Clean Water Act and California's Prop 65.
