Kevin Fingeret is a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. Mr. Fingeret is a member of the Finance Department, as well as a member and former Global Co-Chair of the Structured Finance and Securitization Practice.

Mr. Fingeret has extensive experience representing banks and other financial institutions, issuers, borrowers, and sponsors in a variety of structured finance and securitization transactions. 

Mr. Fingeret focuses on the securitization of esoteric and operating assets. His experience includes structured finance transactions and securitizations involving wholesale and retail data centers, music and media royalties, cell towers (and cell tower sites), broadcast towers, logistics facilities, billboards, rental car fleets, aircraft, railcars, and net leases. 

Mr. Fingeret was recognized in Chambers Global, Chambers USA, and The Legal 500 US as a leading securitization lawyer and a recommended lawyer in Asset Finance & Leasing and Structured Finance.

Mr. Fingeret’s recent experience includes representing:

  • Initial purchasers, structuring advisors, placement agents, and arrangers in data center revenue securitization transactions (including first-ever wholesale data center securitization and first-ever colocation data center securitization) and as arrangers and lenders in related variable funding note transaction
  • Initial purchasers, structuring advisors, and arrangers in multiple tower and tower-site revenue securitization programs, and in warehouse financings for similar assets
  • Initial purchasers, structuring advisor, and arranger in industrial distribution center securitizations (including first-ever industrial distribution center securitization)
  • A major airline in EETC financings and refinancings (registered, 144A/Reg S and private placement) of aircraft and aircraft engines with aggregate proceeds exceeding US$8 billion since 2012
