Kelly F. Farmer

 
 

Kelly F. Farmer is Director of Information Governance in the firm’s Global Technology group. Ms. Farmer is responsible for the firm's Information Governance program, which encompasses records and information management, information security and privacy, risk management, and compliance with legal and ethical issues. Ms. Farmer oversees the firm’s Records Department as well as the Data Governance team, which includes attorneys who are responsible for internal legal holds and electronic document preservation, review and production for a variety of legal matters. Ms. Farmer is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP-US). She participates on the firm’s Security Committee, Privacy Committee, Ethics Committee and Technology Committee.

Prior to joining the Technology department, Ms. Farmer was a seventh-year litigation associate in the Los Angeles office. Her practice focused primarily on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on securities litigation and professional liability. Ms. Farmer has extensive e-discovery experience, advising on and managing numerous large-scale document collections, reviews and productions.
