Irina Vasile is an associate in the Data & Technology Transactions Practice of Latham & Watkins’ London office.
Ms. Vasile advises global clients on data protection and security matters, digital platform regulations, and consumer protection laws.
Ms. Vasile’s practice focuses on digital services, over-the-top communication services, advertising, complex contractual arrangements, international data transfers, employee monitoring, and product counselling. She also has significant experience advising on privacy implications in M&A and restructuring transactions.
Ms. Vasile gained her professional experience working in private practice, as well as in-house for Meta (formerly Facebook) and Oracle. Since joining Latham, she has completed a product counselling secondment at WhatsApp advising on global legal issues.
