Cameron B. Lyons is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. He is a member of the firm’s Finance Department and the Project Development & Finance Practice.

Mr. Lyons represents a variety of financial institutions, private equity firms, strategic sponsors, and developers in connection with project financings, acquisition financings, and other energy and infrastructure-related lending transactions, including midstream oil and gas assets, LNG projects, power projects, transmission assets and residential solar, wind projects, battery storage, and other renewable energy projects.

  • Commercial bank lenders in the construction financing of the 800 MW Vineyard Wind Project, the first large-scale offshore wind project in the United States
  • Ares Capital Corporation in the construction debt and tax equity financing of the 121 MW Ford Ridge Wind Project in Ford County, Illinois
  • Terra-Gen in the construction financing of the 460 MWh Valley Center battery storage project in Valley Center, California
  • Vivint Solar, Inc. in a US$300 million mezzanine debt financing with Brookfield Infrastructure Debt Fund
  • The note purchasers in the mezzanine debt financing of Cypress Creek Renewables
  • SunStrong Capital Holdings in connection with a US$216 million private placement back-leveraged debt financing of three separate portfolios of rooftop solar systems, each with separate tax-equity financings
  • Vivint Solar, Inc. in several multi-party residential solar project portfolio financing structures, including cash and tax equity, and senior debt components
  • Vivint Solar, Inc. in a private placement back-leveraging of four tax equity portfolios of rooftop solar systems
  • Commercial bank lenders in a construction financing of an international power company’s interests in the Nobles 2 Wind Farm, a 250 MW onshore windfarm, and Clear Creek Energy Center, a 242 MW onshore windfarm
  • Invenergy LLC, in a construction financing for a 202.5 MW onshore wind project
  • A commercial bank in a tax equity financing of a portfolio of residential rooftop solar systems
