Amy Beckingham is a partner in the Hong Kong office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department and Private Equity Practice. Ms. Beckingham specializes in public and private M&A and joint ventures, acting for private equity and other financial investor clients on transactions throughout Asia, across a wide range of industry sectors. She has also advised private equity clients on their IPO exits in a number of jurisdictions across Asia.

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Beckingham worked in the Hong Kong and London offices of a Magic Circle law firm for more than 10 years. During that period, she spent time on secondment to the M&A team of Ferrovial in Madrid and in the infrastructure team at 3i in London.

  • Vingroup Joint Stock Company on the joint venture between Vincommerce, a consumer retail unit of Vingroup which operates supermarkets, convenience stores, and farms, and Masan Consumer to create VCM Services and Trading Development Joint Stock Company, a Vietnam-based vertically integrated retail business
  • Vincommerce, a Vietnam-based conglomerate focusing on real estate development, retail, and services ranging from healthcare to hospitality, on an US$500 million investment by a consortium led by GIC
  • Asia Self Storage, a Warburg Pincus portfolio company, on the acquisition of 51% stake in Ministorage China Limited, a Hong Kong holding company of several self-storage facilities in the PRC
  • Warburg Pincus on the US$225 million investment in Converge ICT Solutions, a Philippines-based telecommunications provider
