Joseph D. Sullivan

 
 

Joseph Sullivan retired from Partnership on January 1, 2012. Mr. Sullivan is an experienced M&A tax practitioner who has extensive expertise in a broad range of transactional tax matters. He represented domestic and foreign corporations, private equity firms, venture capital firms and other types of business ventures in acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, mergers, spin-offs, financings and other transactions. He also has significant experience structuring international M&A transactions, including expertise in structuring such transactions for US private equity firms.   

Mr. Sullivan joined the firm in its Washington, D.C. office in 1985 and became a partner in 1992. He headed up the D.C. office transactional tax practice.
