New York Partner Recognized in Women in Investigations Report

June 1, 2021
Global Investigations Review features Lilia Vazova for her leadership on criminal and regulatory matters, cross-border government investigations, and business disputes.

Lilia Vazova, a partner in the White Collar Defense & Investigations Practice, has been recognized in Global Investigations Review’s (GIR) triennial Women in Investigations report, which highlights “outstanding female practitioners in the field” of investigations. The lawyers on the list come from 21 countries and represent current and future leaders in the field.

In her published profile, Vazova described her work to GIR, saying “I feel fortunate to be working on complex and intellectually stimulating, high-stakes matters with exceptionally smart people. My colleagues, our clients, and the government actors we work across from each bring insight and skill to the table that invariably makes the work interesting and teaches me something new every day.”

Vazova’s practice includes criminal and civil litigation, internal investigations, and commercial disputes — particularly matters involving concurrent criminal and civil proceedings or parallel litigations in multiple jurisdictions in the US and abroad. She also litigates business disputes in federal and state courts, as well as under the arbitration rules of all major international arbitration institutions.
