Latham & Watkins Advises TaxBit in US$100 Million Series A Financing

An Emerging Companies team advises the cryptocurrency tax and accounting automation software company in the funding round.

TaxBit, which offers cryptocurrency tax and accounting automation software has announced a record-breaking US$100 million Series A funding round led by Paradigm and Tiger Global with additional participation from PayPal Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Winklevoss Capital, world-renowned investor Bill Ackman, Qualtrics co-founder and chairman Ryan Smith, Anthony Pompliano, former Venmo COO Michael Vaughan, Galaxy Digital, Valar Ventures, Collaborative, Global Founders Capital, Album Ventures, TTV Capital, Original Capital, and more.

Latham & Watkins LLP represents TaxBit in the financing with an emerging companies team led by Los Angeles partner Chris Shoff, with Los Angeles associates David Pendergast and Ben Hecht.
