Latham & Watkins Advises Sleeper in US$40 Million Series C Funding Round
Sleeper, the fastest organically growing fantasy sports company in the United States, announced a US$40 million Series C fundraising round. This most recent round of funding is led by venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, who was also the lead investor in Sleeper's Series B round.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Sleeper in the transaction with a corporate team led by Bay Area partner Ben Potter with Chicago associate Omar Ammash and Bay Area associate Kevin Cergol. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Bay Area partner Jay Metz; and on intellectual property matters by Los Angeles partner Ghaith Mahmood.
