Latham & Watkins Advises Silver Lake in Thrasio’s US$1 Billion Series D Financing

Members of the firm’s Corporate and Tax Departments advised the global technology investment firm.
Thrasio Holdings, Inc. (Thrasio) has announced the initial closing of more than US$1 billion in Series D financing led by Silver Lake, the global leader in technology investing, together with existing investor Advent International, which remains Thrasio’s largest shareholder. Existing investors Upper90, funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P., PEAK6 Investments, and Corner Capital also participated in the round.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Silver Lake in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by New York partner Justin Hamill and Bay Area partner Chad Rolston. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Bay Area partner Katharine Moir and on benefits and compensation matters by Bay Area partner Erin Murphy.
