Latham & Watkins Advises on Coinbase’s Upsized US$2.0 Billion Senior Notes Offering

Firm represents the initial purchasers in the offering by the cryptocurrency exchange platform.

Coinbase Global, Inc., the cryptocurrency exchange platform, has announced the pricing of US$1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of its 3.375% Senior Notes due 2028 and US$1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of its 3.625% Senior Notes due 2031 in its previously announced private offering. The aggregate principal amount of the offering was increased from the previously announced offering size of US$1.5 billion due to market interest. The offering is expected to close on September 17, 2021, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
