Co-Chair of New York Litigation & Trial Department Honored as Distinguished Leader

The New York Law Journal selected Eric Leon, partner and Co-Chair of Latham’s New York Litigation & Trial Department, to the publication’s annual Distinguished Leaders honor roll, an elite group of attorneys who “had great performances while demonstrating clear leadership skills leading to positive outcomes.”

Included as part of the New York Law Journal’s Professional Excellence Awards, the Distinguished Leader honor recognizes lawyers “in leadership roles who achieved impressive results in the past year.” Though Mr. Leon racked up a standout year successfully defending his clients before various courts on a variety of complex legal issues, he noted that his proudest accomplishments involved creating opportunities for Latham’s younger generation of legal talent to take on increased responsibility and gain hands-on experience, including tackling standup roles during important trials and arbitrations.
