Two Corporate Partners Recognized as Emerging Leaders by The M&A Advisor

Houston partner Nick Dhesi and Boston partner Kristen Grannis have been awarded the 2020 Emerging Leaders Award by The M&A Advisor. The award celebrates dealmakers under 40, who have exhibited excellence and made significant contributions to the industry and their communities. 

Dhesi was recognized for his unique versatility throughout his work in the energy sector. He regularly guides not only complex, multi-faceted public and private M&A transactions, but also the related capital markets, financing and joint venture aspects of each deal. At a time when energy transactions often pivot significantly and urgently in response to shifting market conditions, Dhesi is able to provide a consistent voice to his clients. 

Grannis was honored for her prominent work in the middle market private equity space. She regularly advises private equity, growth equity, and venture firms, as well as their portfolio companies across the technology, retail, healthcare, and life sciences sectors. She has been changing the private equity game, specifically through late stage pre-IPO/“unicorn” financings utilizing structured equity and growth capital, and reshaping how people view private equity opportunities by creating bespoke legal structures for clients.
