Latham & Watkins is pleased to announce that Chris Horton will join the London office as a partner in the Corporate Department. Horton’s practice focuses on advising listed companies, investment banks, and asset managers on a variety of complex ECM, M&A, and regulatory matters.
“Chris is an outstanding capital markets practitioner, who brings significant experience and dynamism to the team. We are committed to developing the leading corporate practice in London, and Chris's arrival is an exciting further step in that direction,” said Jay Sadanandan, Office Managing Partner of Latham & Watkins in London.
Horton has particular experience advising on IPOs and secondary offerings as well as M&A transactions involving UK premium listed companies.
“Chris has a terrific blend of transactional and regulatory experience that will be of great value to our clients in the UK and globally,” added Nick Cline, Co-Chair of Latham’s Corporate Department in London. “His prominence in the City is well-earned. He is a talented and entrepreneurial practice builder, and he will play a major role in helping to grow our London team.”
“Latham's pre-eminent capital markets practice is a key pillar of the firm’s strength and global strategy,” said David Walker, Global Vice-Chair of Latham & Watkins' Corporate Department. “Chris’s experience complements and enhances the existing strength of our ECM and corporate practices in London and globally. His arrival will further advance our goal to become the market’s leading firm for complex, cross-border transactions.”
