Yuri Fuchs is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.
Yuri represents clients in a wide range of litigation matters through various phases of trial court and appellate litigation. Yuri brings to bear his prior experience at the Department of Justice, where he worked in the Civil Division. Prior to that, he was an Assistant United States Attorney in the so-called “rocket docket” of the Eastern District of Virginia where he argued more than fifteen motions, managed expedited discovery, and achieved successful settlements for his agency clients. Prior to his time in government service and private practice, Yuri clerked for Judge Carolyn Dineen King on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
He has experience working in a variety of subject areas, including pharmaceutical litigation, trade secret disputes, securities litigation, and consumer protection class actions.
