Yuqian Zhang is a litigation and trial associate in the Silicon Valley office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice.

Yuqian represents public and private companies on various intellectual property matters, with a focus on patent infringement and trade secret litigation.

She advises clients on a variety of matters within telecommunications, consumer electronics, aerospace, and gaming. 

Yuqian maintains an active pro bono practice.

Yuqian earned her JD from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a Tech Law Scholar and worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Technology Law & Policy.

Prior to law school, Yuqian received her BEng in Computer Science from the University of Hong Kong, where she graduated with First Class Honors. She also worked at a boutique law firm and advised clients on intellectual property litigation and open-source software licensing.
