Will Sedgwick is a finance associate in the Silicon Valley office of Latham & Watkins.
Will represents public and private borrowers, venture capital and private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and alternative lenders in a range of financing transactions, with an emphasis on the technology, life sciences, and healthcare industries.
His experience includes growth debt and venture debt facilities, direct lending and private credit transactions, leveraged financings, asset-based lending, life sciences intellectual property monetization structures, and cross-border financings. A dual JD/MBA graduate, he brings a commercially minded, finance-focused perspective to his practice.
Will maintains an active pro bono practice, representing low-income entrepreneurs in the Bay Area and individuals seeking asylum.
While in law school, he served as editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law and President of the Private Equity & Venture Capital Society. He previously played Division I football at Brigham Young University.
