Will Schildknecht advises clients on risk management and government and internal investigations, with a focus on consumer protection, AI, privacy, and cybersecurity.

A forward-looking lawyer, Will developed an AI tool for clients to assess US state data breach notification obligations, garnering firm recognition from The Financial Times. Complementing his commercial work, he also maintains a robust pro bono practice, including support for nonprofits on technology risk management. Will has also advocated to improve detention conditions for children in custodial care.

Before joining Latham, Will clerked for Judge Liam O’Grady on the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (Alexandria) and worked at another global law firm.
