Troy is a member of the derivatives team within the Corporate Department at Latham & Watkins in London.
Troy predominantly advises investment banks and private capital firms, including private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, and hedge funds on strategic equity transactions used to build or increase minority stakes in companies, often in anticipation of takeover or activist activity. In parallel, Troy supports the monetisation, capital raising, hedging and disposal needs of issuers and existing shareholders, including sponsors seeking liquidity or exiting investments. These transactions include collars and other structured equity derivatives, loans secured over listed and unlisted shares, and preferred equity instruments.
Troy also advises on fixed income capital markets transactions, particularly with respect to regulatory capital and asset-backed financings, such as significant risk transfers, NPLs, loan-on-loans, and litigation funding.
