Tristan Tan is an associate in the Singapore office’s Project Development & Finance Practice.

Tristan represents sponsors, borrowers, commercial banks and other financial institutions on banking and project finance transactions in the energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors.

Prior to joining Latham, Tristan worked as a finance associate in the Singapore office of a leading global law firm.

Tristan’s experience includes advising:

  • The mandated lead arrangers and underwriters in connection with a multicurrency revolving credit facility for an Indonesian sovereign wealth fund*
  • The mandated lead arrangers in connection with a multicurrency term loan facility for PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara to finance its operational activities (including the operation of the Batu Hijau mine, reportedly the second largest copper and gold mine in Indonesia, and one of the world's top five copper-equivalent contained reserves)*
  • The mandated lead arrangers in connection with a revolving credit facility to finance KKR’s investment into a Singapore-based data center provider*
  • The mandated lead arrangers in connection with the financing of PAG’s acquisition of NashTech Holdings, a leading IT services outsourcing company headquartered in London*
  • The arrangers in connection with the financing of Bain Capital’s cross-border acquisition of a US-based high-pressure and speciality chemicals company*
