Tristan Davis is an associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins. 

Tristan advises clients on a broad range of sophisticated financing matters, with a particular focus on innovative and highly structured transactions.

Tristan is a member of the firm’s Finance Department. He represents both borrowers and lenders on a broad range of secured and unsecured financings, both domestic and cross-border, including:

  • Growth debt, including venture, structured, and lower middle market
  • Direct lending and private capital
  • Acquisition financings
  • Leveraged buyouts
  • Asset-based transactions
  • Syndicated facilities
  • Sponsor financings

Before joining Latham, Tristan served as in-house counsel at a Fortune 100 company, where he was a member of the pro bono committee. Before that, he practiced acquisition financing and sponsor finance at another international law firm, where he also served as Chair of the office’s Black Affinity Group.
