Before joining Latham & Watkins, Trevor practiced real estate law as an associate at another international law firm.

Prior to his legal career, he gained valuable experience in excess casualty insurance underwriting and served as a consultant for a business and construction litigation consulting firm.

Trevor's experience includes advising:

  • An investor client in the formation of a student housing joint venture, holding stabilized assets and developments at six campuses with an aggregate value over US$500 million*
  • A general partner client in the formation of a single-family rental community joint venture with an international pension fund investor, with a total commitment over US$800 million*
  • A real estate investment firm in the formation of a joint venture and related US$139 million acquisition and financing of a luxury hotel in Washington, D.C.*
  • An international electric vehicle battery manufacturer in its US$100 million acquisition of an Illinois industrial property and related regulatory and rezoning efforts*
