Tina Jensen is a member of the Litigation & Trial Department and the Securities and M&A Litigation and Entertainment, Sports & Media practice groups.
Tina represents publicly traded companies and their senior executives and directors in complex securities litigation and merger-related disputes. She also advises high-profile clients in the entertainment, media and technology industries on a broad range of issues, including First Amendment considerations, content moderation, and contract matters. Tina has extensive experience guiding clients through high-stakes, reputationally sensitive disputes where legal and business risks intersect.
Tina earned her Juris Doctor with honors from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where she served as an editor of the Journal of Law and Social Policy and worked on civil rights litigation at the MacArthur Justice Center. She also gained valuable experience as an intern at the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois. Additionally, Tina trained in improvisation at Chicago’s iconic Second City, honing the quick thinking and collaborative instincts that inform her legal practice.
Before embarking on her legal career, Tina was an award-winning investigative journalist with a focus on police and government accountability. She reported for ABC, FOX, and CBS affiliates across the country, earning two regional news Emmy nominations for investigative reporting and the Special Achievement Award for Journalistic Enterprise.
Prior to joining Latham, Tina was a litigation associate at another leading international law firm.
