Terrence J. Connolly

Retired Partner

Terrence Connolly retired from the partnership in March 2018. He was a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Litigation & Trial Department and the Intellectual Property and Antitrust Litigation Practices. Mr. Connolly focused on complex patent, copyright, trademark, and antitrust litigation.

Mr. Connolly has represented several pharmaceutical manufacturers in multiple Hatch-Waxman patent cases in the federal courts of New York, New Jersey, and Delaware.

At the time of his retirement, Mr. Connolly was a member of the Second and Ninth US Circuit Courts of Appeals and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He was also a member of the US District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of New York and the Western District of Washington. He was a member of the Program Committee of the Federal Bar Council and of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
