Tené Johnson is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Prior to joining Latham full-time, Tené was a summer associate in the New York office.

Tené maintains an active pro bono practice, most recently representing an animal welfare organization filing an amicus brief in the New York Court of Appeals and an incarcerated individual in civil matters related to Eighth Amendment and Americans with Disabilities Act claims.

While attending law school, Tené interned for a federal district court judge in the Southern District of New York, served as a staff editor for Columbia’s Journal of Law & Social Problems and was a board member of Columbia’s Student Animal Legal Defense Fund chapter.
