Susan Parker, Chair of the Boston Finance Department, advises private equity sponsors, investment funds, and operating companies across all stages of the investment life cycle, with a particular focus on the middle market.

Susan leverages fluency in all levels of the capital structure and interdisciplinary fund experience — including in-house at global investment institutions such as Audax Group and  The Boston Consulting Group — to help clients navigate:

  • Private equity and growth equity financings, including ABL facilities, cash flow financings, NAV financings, and ARR financings
  • GPU financings
  • Structured equity and pre-IPO financings 
  • M&A, joint ventures, and other direct investments
  • Debt financings for emerging companies

She identifies transactional risks before they jeopardize a deal and devises creative solutions that allow clients to achieve their commercial objectives.    

Susan maintains an active pro bono practice, including various representations of minors through KIND, a nonprofit organization focused on providing high-quality legal representation to children in immigration court, and matters for GLAD Law, a nonprofit legal rights organization headquartered in Boston.
