    Sungjoo Ahn advises clients on energy and infrastructure financing transactions.

    Sungjoo represents financial institutions, sponsors, and developers in connection with projects across various sectors, including power, renewables, BESS, LNG, and digital infrastructure.

    Sungjoo maintains an active pro bono practice, providing legal services to incarcerated mothers, immigrant victims of domestic violence, freelance artists, and small business owners.

    Experience

    Sungjoo’s experience includes advising:

    • The E.W. Scripps Company in connection with comprehensive exchange transactions involving approximately US$1.3 billion of its existing term loans and new commitments to extend and replace its existing revolving credit facility*
    • Hellman & Friedman and its portfolio company Circana, a market research and technology company, in connection with acquisition financing for a marketing mix modeling business acquisition*
    • J.P. Morgan and other lead arrangers in financings, refinancings, and asset sales for Hanesbrands*
    • EQT Group in connection with various acquisition and refinancing transactions for its portfolio company Reworld*
