Sungjoo maintains an active pro bono practice, providing legal services to incarcerated mothers, immigrant victims of domestic violence, freelance artists, and small business owners.

Sungjoo’s experience includes advising:

  • The E.W. Scripps Company in connection with comprehensive exchange transactions involving approximately US$1.3 billion of its existing term loans and new commitments to extend and replace its existing revolving credit facility*
  • Hellman & Friedman and its portfolio company Circana, a market research and technology company, in connection with acquisition financing for a marketing mix modeling business acquisition*
  • J.P. Morgan and other lead arrangers in financings, refinancings, and asset sales for Hanesbrands*
  • EQT Group in connection with various acquisition and refinancing transactions for its portfolio company Reworld*
