Sumer Ghazala is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Supreme Court & Appellate Practice.
Before joining Latham, Sumer served as a law clerk to Judge Patricia A. Millett of the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, and Judge Jesse M. Furman of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Sumer received her JD from Yale Law School, where she served as an editor of the Yale Law Journal, a Coker Fellow in Constitutional Law, student director of the San Francisco Affirmative Litigation Project, and participant in the Supreme Court Advocacy Clinic.
