Sukhmani Kaur is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Capital Markets Practice.

Sukhmani advises clients on corporate and capital markets transactions, including securities offerings and public company reporting matters. She represents issuers and initial purchasers across a range of debt and equity capital markets transactions, as well as advising public companies on ongoing disclosure and governance obligations.

Prior to joining Latham, Sukhmani earned her JD from Harvard Law School, magna cum laude, where she received the William J. Stuntz Memorial Award for Justice, Human Dignity, and Compassion, served as an editor of the Harvard Human Rights Journal, and participated in clinics focused on international human rights, immigration, and religious freedom, receiving recognition for completing over 1,000 hours of pro bono work.

Sukhmani’s experience includes advising:

  • The Joint Global Coordinators in connection with SoftBank Group’s issuance of US$900 million, US$1.1 billion, and €750 million hybrid notes, listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited
  • AIR Limited in connection with its business combination and public listing on Nasdaq as AIR Global PLC
  • AIR Global PLC on public company reporting matters
