Sophia Fossali is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.
Sophia maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individuals seeking asylum and other forms of immigration relief, as well as victims of domestic violence in partnership with Sanctuary for Families and New York Legal Assistance Group.
Sophia earned a dual degree from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a Global Law Scholar, and Sciences Po Paris. She is also a trained mediator.
While in law school, Sophia served as digital editor of the Georgetown Journal for International Law and was a member of the Barristers’ Council Alternative Dispute Resolution Division. Sophia also served as a fellow at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and was a Law Clerk at the World Bank, Legal Vice Presidency.
