Sofia Sitterson is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.
Ms. Sitterson advises both private and public companies on domestic and cross-border transactions. Her practice focuses on capital markets, including initial public offerings (IPOs) and secondary offerings, as well as equity derivatives.
As part of her active pro bono practice, Ms. Sitterson has represented transgender people in the state of New York, helping them to achieve legal name changes and gender marker changes.
Prior to joining Latham full-time, Ms. Sitterson was a summer associate in the New York office. While attending Georgetown University Law Center, Ms. Sitterson served as an online editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics.
