Shlan Tekeste is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins.
Prior to joining Latham, Shlan was a summer associate and Diversity Scholar in the firm's Chicago office. She earned her JD from Northeastern University School of Law. While there, she served as Associate and Senior Editor of the Northeastern University Law Review and participated in two Moot Court competitions. During law school, she also spent two terms interning at non-profit organizations based in Boston.
Before attending law school, Shlan worked at a community-based legal nonprofit that provided criminal defense to indigent youth in Chicago.
